Prevention is a proactive approach; creating an environment that promotes the health and well-being of individuals and communities, which prevent problems before they occur. Our substance use prevention programs implement evidence-based strategies in the community to prevent use of all substances.

Alcohol Prevention

Alcohol is the most commonly used drug among youth in the state of North Dakota. Reducing the occurrence of underage drinking is a top priority in Foster County. Our alcohol prevention coordinator can answer any questions you may have regarding the alcohol prevention efforts in our county.
